Public Relations campaigns and plans
Social Media
One area of professional PR that I hope to work in is social media. During my time at UO, I took a course called “Top Strategic Social Media.” I collaborated with a team. We worked for our client by creating an in-depth social media plan to improve reach and engagement across platforms. We conducted a data analysis of all social media channels and created an eight week content calendar.
Public Relations Campaign
I worked on a team to come up with a public relations campaign for a science podcast. We made a strategic plan on how to grow the podcasts reach and engagement through different communication channels. We also made graphic mockups and social media post examples.
Sustainability Plan
Through my business minor I have been able to learn about marketing, management, and accounting. I have also been able to explore my passion for sustainability and how it can be implemented into business. In one of my courses I was able to work on a team to create a potential plan for a company to better their sustainability.

In one of my courses I took for my sustainable business minor I analyzed the rise and backlash of the environmental movement in the 1960s and 1980s. I focused on the political, economic, and social factors that shaped its trajectory.

This essay is based on an interview that I did with my grandfather. I discussed the differences in how we consume media. These differences are exemplified because of the different times that we grew up in.
